Nagala Re-visit

"Whom did you like the most in this group?" Biju asked.. "Come on yaar... don't be shy... which girl or lady did you like in this group?" We were having an intro-session at the 2nd pool in Nagala on a Sunday afternoon. Biju was the organizer who took the challenge of taking 82 members, most of them first-timers to CTC's most favourite trekking spot, the Nagala western entry. We had started from Koyambedu at 5:30 AM and after a short stop at Poondi reservoir, we reached Nagala at 8:30. I got my first shock ten minutes later when my Nikon D80 declared 'she' was not working on that Sunday! Vof & Hemkund Trek - Day 0

Day 0: Aug-10-2007 7:30 PM: Oh God! I am half an hr late! (yeah.. yeah.. I can hear you guys... " Whats new in it ". Right?). Anyways I have around "Two and a Half" hrs to reach Old Delhi Rly station and catch MUSSOORIE EXP! So why should I worry? However, after reaching Kapashera and searching for a less crowded bus with a window seat for more than 20 mins, I did start to worry a little! Finally I got my window seat in a bus that within 5 mins became a crowded (sorry.. its ' over-crowded '!) bus. It was showing 8:15 in my mobile when our driver decided to start the bus! Thank God! Atlast! Shall I sound the bugle for informing the start of my journey? Wait a min! Whats that? Traffic jam ! Oh god! Not now!!! After listening to a dozen latest hits, hundreds of ads and many requests from Sheela Dixit to Delhi people to drive Safely and Sensibly on various FM stations, we had reached just MahipalPur at 9:00! Easter - The Return !

Day 9 March 23 2008 Guwahati - Delhi The last day of our trip! Back to Delhi.. Back to Bangalore.. Back to office... I was tired. But Gokul and Apoorv weren't. They wanted to visit the Navagraha Temple also before leaving. Our flights were at 3 and 4 PM. It would be OK if we start from our hotel at around 12:30 PM. After they left I slept till 9:00 AM. Got up and got ready. Rahul and Prem were also ready by that time. We waited for the other 2 and they came back from the Navagraha Temple. We had our last lunch from Guwahati and took a taxi to the airport. We sat there recollecting our last 9 days. Unlike our arrival day, there were many people in the airport that day. Tourists as well as people who belonged to North East. When it was time for us to leave, we said good byes to Apoorv and went through the security check. Our flight was on time.
