Wishlist for 2008

After attaining enlightenment from my travel bug, I sat down and prepared a wishlist for 2008. When the list was completed, I was happy. I have new goals for 2008.

But the bug still looked a bit skeptical. I wont blame it since it was me who let him down the last year. Anyways I have decided that I will try my best and surprise him this year!

The following is list of places I have to visit in this year. When... how... with whom... I dont have any idea. But I am sure it'll all come to me in due course of time.

1 Srinagar
2 Jaisalmer
3 NorthEast
4 Andaman/Lakshyadweep/Goa
5 Leh-Ladakh/Spiti Valley

What?..Why are u laughing?
Dont give me that look!

If you dont believe me now... then get ready for some gaping in the end of the year!

W hoever said "Traveling doesn't need any planning...just pack your bags and go" is either rich or is lying! It needs some homework and a good planning before the start. Else this can happen to anyone... A trip that could have been completed with 700-750 km ended up in 930 km. Almost 14 hrs instead of a 10 hrs journey. Journey to Tawang

Day 3 March 17 2008 Bomdila Apoorv and myself woke up before everyone else and we were ready. Soon we heard aunty singing her song of the day, "Kaho na pyaar hey... kaho na pyaar hey..." Prem went to her and requested her to give him hot water. Soon he was also ready. Gokul and Rahul were enjoying their sleep as much a possible and we had to go and wake them up. Anyways, by the time it was 6:00 AM, we settled the bills and were ready to leave. But there was a problem... Our driver bhayya, Bittu the great hasn't come yet! We waited for half and hr. We waited for 1 hr... Still no sign of Bittu! After one hr, Apoorv suggested we call Meeraj and tell him the situation. We looked around for an STD booth and found one and dialled him. We heard the ring on the other side and suddenly we heard the message. "The number you are trying to reach is busy.. please try later.."
